Sigurds “Sig” Kakulis is an Architectural Designer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Architecture Studies at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning. At UWM, Sig has collaborated with faculty in multiple grant funded research projects exploring affordable housing and historic preservation through the Support for Undergraduate Research Fellowship program.

Sig displays a measured, reflective demeanor in the way he works and a willingness to explore unconventional ideas while remaining grounded in evidence and context. He continues to develop his professional practice through independent study, collaboration, and engagement with emerging ideas in the field of architecture and interior design.
